The Built in camer in my Asus Monitor VK series is not able to be connected in Windows 10. I have installed Lefeframe 3 but that does not help. I am using a Dell Prevision 3640 with an nVidia graphics card.
Every time I try to open ASUS LifeFrame on my laptop, I get an error message telling me that the model is not supported. Please, help.

First, you need to make sure that you have a laptop made by ASUS, because the application will only work on those devices. If you do, try uninstalling and reinstalling the application and see if that helps.
In case this easy fix doesn't do the trick, press the Win + R buttons on your keyboard, then type devmgmt.msc in the Run box that open up and press Enter. In the Device Manager window that pops-up, make sure that your camera driver is installed correctly. If you see a yellow question mark on it, it means that it's not install properly, so right-click the name of the webcam and press Update. Lastly, reboot your computer and LifeFrame should work now.
In case you need to download the application again or drivers for your laptop, go to ASUS's support page, type in your laptop mode and go from there.
I took a couple of videos, and when I closed my laptop and opened it up again, the Lifeframe program was closed. When I went back to the program, they were gone. Is there anyway I can get them back?

You should check where the application keeps all the recorded videos. You can either take a new video or access the settings of the software. If the files were deleted, install Recuva, then use the Wizard to define the search parameters like: file type and search location.
My Asus LifeFrame camera output is upside down and there is no option to change it back to the way it that should be. Can anyone help me?

You need to re-install the driver of your Asus LifeFrame camera. You can go to Asus support page to find the PID code of the web camera, then download and install the corresponding driver. You need to uninstall the previous camera driver before install the new one.
Another solution is to download and install ManyCam. This is a free program and can rotate your camera output.

On the official Support web page, the developer states that the last version of Asus LifeFrame is running on Windows 8, but to avoid any incompatibility issue, you need to uninstall the utility before you upgrade to the newer OS.
I emailed an Asus video made from LifeFrame on my computer as an attachment but those receiving it are not able to open it.
One has Windows, another has Apple. Could you explain me the reason?

There is nothing wrong with the video or your software. The only problem is that the users need to download a general codec which is able to play most video files using a custom player (that is the case). There are many video players for Windows which do not need additional codecs and have native support for all major video file formats. But beside this, codecs for Mac are rare or do not exist at all and instead it is recommended to use a audio/video player which has everything built-in.
LifeFrame software is new for me and it seems complex. I need a user manual for it. Can you help me?

I want to use the built-in camera of my ASUS and LifeFrame to record videos in widescreen, but I don't know where to find this option. When the video camera or the Camcorder tab is selected, there is a resolution button that only offers "fullscreen" options. The Monitor tab offers a widescreen resolution, but this does not take videos. Suggestions?

To record in widescreen, you need to choose a resolution with an aspect ratio of 16:9. None of the recording programs have an option to record in widescreen because this depends on the resolution you choose. If you can't find a widesreen resolution on your application, it means that it doesn't have the functionality for it.
When I start the application, the image appears upside-down. I've tried sorting it out from the Settings Window, but there doesn't seem to be anything related to this feature. What can I do?
